At Work Positive they are all about bringing the best out of people – mostly, but not exclusively, at work.
Using the principles of positive psychology and business psychology they work with organisations to design and deliver practical solutions to enable people and teams to flourish.
Work Positive focus on building on strengths and learning from success; but that doesn’t mean they ignore weaknesses and mistakes. It’s all about balance – where they put their attention, the questions they ask and making conscious decisions about how they choose to engage with the world around them.
While there can be great benefit in focusing on people’s strengths and learning from previous successes, these things are often overlooked as organisations instead put more emphasis on identifying weaknesses and areas for improvement. Work Positive aims to shift this balance by highlighting strengths, building on what’s working and developing cultures where people thrive.
Established in 2007, Work Positive was created to help organisations bring the best out of their people and to enable individuals to thrive at work. With an experienced international team of psychologists, they draw on research from the field of positive psychology to create impactful interventions for leaders, managers and staff across a broad range of sectors.
Leading their international team of psychologists, trainers and coaches are UK-based Directors Martin Gaplin and Michele Deeks, both Chartered Psychologists with nearly 50 years of experience between them (no, they can’t believe they’re that old either!).
