WELCOMING TERRY CORBY TO SSF UK

We are delighted to announce and welcome Terry Corby, Founder and CEO of Good Business Pays to SSF UK.

Terry Corby is the man who is single-handedly taking on the biggest corporations in the country by holding them to account on late payments. Following four years of Terry’s campaigning through his not-for-profit organisation Good Business Pays, business behemoths including GSK, Sainsbury’s Bank, Rolls Royce Power Engineering and TUI UK have slashed their average supplier payment times, by up to 50 and even 75 percent.

Good Business Pays produces regular reports listing the country’s best and worst payment cultures, which are all searchable, so that potential suppliers can see the stats for themselves before they decide whether to sign a contract. Businesses can check their own status and, through the Good Business Pays Fast Payer Awards, Terry recognises and celebrates good payment cultures, giving the award winners the tools to do the same.

An experienced strategist and change management consultant leading major transformation and commercial growth programmes at Andersen Consulting, Accenture, KPMG and more, Terry has spent his twenty-year career growing businesses large and small. Gaining the support of major business organisations including the Federation of Small Businesses, CBI, Institute of Directors, British Chambers of Commerce and Make UK, Terry now channels his expert knowledge into campaigning for better payments for the UK’s five million small businesses with Good Business Pays.

Terry is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the promotion of Arts, Merchandising & Commerce (FRSA), a Fellow of the Strategic Planning Society (FStratP), Adjunct Lecturer in Business & Marketing at Exeter University and became a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute in 2006 (CCMI).

Terry speaks passionately and engagingly about the impact of unfair, slow and late payments for SMEs, encouraging supporters from across the businesscommunity to campaign for change. Terry regularly delivers speeches and chairs panels, leading the charge in bringing late payment problems into business and government narrative and driving positive change that is benefitting tens of thousands of SMEs across the UK.

Terry will be featuring at the next Order to Cash network event, taking place at RSA in Liverpool on July 16th where he will sharing some an introduction into Good Business Pays and exploring the impact of payment culture.
