We are delighted to announce and welcome Peter Richardson, Managing Director at Protiviti and Leyla Tindall, Managing Director at Robert Half as guest speakers at the virtual Leaders event taking place on September 14th.
PETER RICHARDSON
Peter is Managing Director and Architect for the Future of Work at Protiviti. He was the Country Market Leader for Protiviti’s UK business for five years including being at the helm through the first 18 months of the Pandemic. During this period, he became ever more convinced that the new world we were entering and the new ways of work we were experiencing should be treated as an opportunity. We had overcome in rapid time so many barriers to change and developed so many new ways of working and of adjusting (usually though not exclusively for the better) the work life balance of our people, that we should continue to build on the best of them and pursue the changes positively rather than, resisting and being afraid of them merely as ‘challenges to our culture’.
What is more, it became evident pretty quickly that our people expected those changes to continue! His technical background is in Business Performance Improvement. In this role he has focused for over thirty-five years on business change, primarily in the Financial Services industry, but also in many other industries and services sectors. He focuses on redesigning and executing strategies for driving change in how and where work will be delivered in the future. He is a specialist in change management and operational transformation with a particular interest in culture change, possibly stemming from his interest in other peoples and cultures and his linguistic skills (Peter speaks French, German and Portuguese). His goal is to ensure we draw on and learn from our experiences from the pandemic and do not ‘sleepwalk back into the past’.
LEYLA TINDALL
Leyla is a Managing Director at Robert Half Executive Search, with over 20 years of experience in leadership development and executive recruitment. Prior to joining Robert Half, she founded and ran her own recruitment firm for 10 years advising entrepreneurs and listed businesses on board functionality and senior leadership development.
Leyla has established expertise in senior finance and board level appointments. More recently, she has specialised in recruiting non-executive directors to AIM listed PLCs.
Since joining Robert Half she set up the Women in Business Forum and sits on the judges panel for the annual PLC Awards. As a single working mother in a senior leadership role, Leyla has personally enjoyed exploring the opportunities our new world of work brings and advises clients on how to hire and retain talent in the new hybrid working environment.
