We are super excited to welcome UK Latte Art Champion Finalist Benjamin Lewis - Barista Benji, to our annual conference 2023. Ben will be working his magic to create coffee that not only tastes amazing but also looks amazing and will keep you refreshed and energised during our 2 day flagship event.
Barista Benji has practiced the craft of Latte Art for 7 years, starting in a small chain of cafes to winning a wide variety of competitions and becoming a UK Latte Art finalist three years running. His perfection of craft and intricate style of latte art led him to be hired to create bespoke designs for Disney, Cartoon Network, Honda, Kraken, BRITA (and more!) for their promotional activities.
Benji’s skills have taken him across the world for competitions, training and demonstrations, even travelling to the World Latte Art Stage as a coach to Dhan Tamang (UK Latte Art Champion) and providing training to some of the best baristas and latte artists around. Whilst growing his online presence @barista_benji he became a regular feature on London Coffee Festival’s ‘Latte Art Live Stage’ - his shows ‘Next Level Latte Art’ and ‘Colourful Coffee Characters’ draw people in every year to marvel at the vast amount of creations possible using only a jug, coffee and milk!
Benji now spends his time training the next generation of latte artists, helping home baristas develop their skills and demonstrating the craft at shows and events whilst entertaining the public and spreading the passion for specialty coffee to as many people as will listen!
