We have just announced that our June Leaders event and Summer Social will be taking place at The Wellbeing Farm in Edgworth, Bolton and we are super excited to announce also that Celia Gaze Founder and CEO at The Wellbeing Farm will be joining our summer event to introduce us to the Farm and share insight into how she created the multi-award-winning, sustainable events venue, nestled in the Lancashire countryside.
With a background in programme and project management and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Celia spent 14 years in senior management within the NHS. It was during this time that she experienced the toll of work-related stress—an experience that became the catalyst for a dramatic life change.
What began as a wild idea to transform her partner’s rundown barn into a space centred around wellbeing and celebration quickly turned into a reality. On 23rd March 2013, The Wellbeing Farm officially opened its doors.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Celia once again sought deeper meaning and direction for both herself and the business. Her search led her to B Corp, a global movement championing purpose-driven businesses that put people, planet and community first. In 2022, The Wellbeing Farm proudly achieved its B Corp certification.
Now, 12 years on, Celia leads one of the UK’s most unique and sustainable venues. She is a passionate advocate for small businesses, hospitality, and sustainability, and continues to inspire others through her bold leadership and trailblazing approach.
