Richard George has over 35 years’ experience in Payroll. With 20 years’ delivery and management in Blue Chip companies, significant experience in senior client relationship and management, along with senior management in a large payroll bureau.
Richard has been involved in payroll management at all levels, as well as involvement and running of numerous industry forums, and has a background of speaking and training at industry conferences and events.

Every year now seems to be a year of change for a different reason. In 2022 we saw enormous change due in the main to changing prime ministers and chancellors which meant multiple decisions, redactions, and changes throughout the year to keep us all on our toes!
2023 is expected to hopefully be a little more stable given the recent budget announcements, but what we are seeing is multiple consultations and therefore a large number of parliamentary bills which in the main should convert to acts in the near future.
Whether it be the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill which could see seismic changes to domestic law and process both in respect of the employment rights and working regulations as we end the transition period , or the numerous employment bills and updates on flexible and hybrid working, we use this session to go through what’s out there for the near future for HR and Payroll alike as most changes will have an impact on both
