We are very pleased to welcome to the SSF UK member community, The Public Sector Shared Services Programme (PSSSP) in Northern Ireland.
Colm Doran, Director of PSSSP explains a little about the programme and its objectives below:
The Public Sector Shared Services Programme (PSSSP) has been established to take forward the NI Executive's commitment to the extension of shared services.
The PSSSP has a vision of:
Collaboratively optimising shared services to enable excellent public service delivery.
Strategic outcomes and design principles have been developed to underpin this vision.
PSSSP is a collaboration between the health, education and central government sectors (including all Non-Departmental Public Bodies) in NI and is being overseen by a cross Sectoral programme board.
In the current phase, the Programme is developing an outline business case (OBC) to examine options for the future delivery of business services across the public sector. Business services in scope of this OBC are HR, payroll, finance, procurement, logistics and ICT.
