This morning we held the second virtual SSF UK leaders event. Focusing on the 7 pillars of inclusion SSF UK Board Directors Lisa Hooley and David Herd took us on a deep dive into how our SSF UK member organisations are creating their own workplace of the future, through ACCESS, ATTITUDE, CHOICE, PARTNERSHIPS, COMMUNICATION, POLICIES AND OPPORTUNITIES. Sharing research into how our SSF UK member organisations can determine gaps and prioritise actions to create their own inclusive workplaces for the future,
We also welcomed Yvonne Saxon, Head of HR, Diversity & Inclusion Services at Vista Employer Services. Vista were the first to obtain the UK British Standard for D&I, and Yvonne shared what it meant to them as an organisation, how they implemented it and how they are using it today.
Yvonne also shared her personal vision of what she thinks the diverse and inclusive workplace of the future will look and feel like. A great session which included top tips for the key considerations we all need to be thinking about to create the right recipe for D&I in our own workplaces.
