Working in collaboration with Grant Thornton we will shortly be issuing a national survey to all our leaders from our member organisations requesting your participation into a national study focusing on how the UK is performing as a location for Shared Services.
With over 300 recognised centres, the UK is a well-established location for Shared Services - the largest in Europe - supporting both home grown businesses and providing regional hubs for home and overseas multi-nationals.
The UK’s significance as a location has a number of contributing factors including; positive adoption by UK corporates; the prevalence of English as the global language of business; access to European markets; social political and economic stability; quality of life performance and a flexible, skilled labour market.
Looking to the future, rapid advances in technology will have a significant influence on the nature of shared service organisations globally; and for the UK and Europe the economic, social and political ramifications of the UK’s exit from the EU are still far from certain.
We are grateful for your participation in this short survey, which will form part of our study into the future of the UK as a location for shared services.
Please may we kindly ask for your co-operation in this survey which will provide valuable insight into the future of the UK as a location for shared services.
