Last week, the SSF UK team had a great time visiting member organisation Network Plus, where we were warmly welcomed into the office to support their Easter raffle and spend time with the team.
It was fantastic to catch up with everyone, chat through what’s coming up at SSF UK, and hear directly from the team about upcoming events and the areas they wouldd like us to focus on as we shape future activity. These conversations are always invaluable and reinforce the importance of staying closely connected with our member organisations.
The visit was also a great opportunity to experience the positive energy and strong sense of team spirit across the office. From informal conversations to the buzz throughout the space, the atmosphere was welcoming and genuine, helped along by plenty of pizza, cakes, and Easter treats.
A real highlight of the day was meeting the Guide Dogs, whose presence brought smiles all round and added to the excitement in the office. The dogs were there as part of Network Plus’ ongoing relationship with the Guide Dogs charity, supported through regular fundraising initiatives across the business. This work is led by the incredible efforts of Jacqui Marsden, whose commitment to fundraising, alongside the wider team, has helped build a meaningful and lasting partnership with the charity.
A huge thank you to Colin McDougall, Jacqui Marsden and Network Plus for inviting us along and making us feel so welcome. It was a brilliant visit and a great chance to reconnect, share ideas, and spend time with the Network Plus team.
