Members enjoy the day, hosted by ITV plc
Members of the Payroll Network took a stroll down Coronation Street as part of March's Payroll Network Meeting, kindly hosted by ITV plc.
Alongside a visit to the Granada News Room and a tour down the cobbles of TV's favourite street, attendees also enjoyed a tour of the ITV Business Service Centre and met with ITV's HR Services Team; before contributing to an engaging roundtable discussion.
Our Payroll Network Chair, Sean Goulding, said of the Network: “The Network meetings allow payroll professionals to get together to discuss various hot topics in the payroll field. As you know, this is an ever changing environment with new rules and legislation, which sometimes is not that straightforward. In the past, by members getting together, great ideas have been shared within these meetings and also outside of the meetings due to connections made through the Network.”
“The meetings are hosted at different Shared Services, so the Network also gives an insight in to how other businesses carry out their processes and migrate in new work, again potentially providing learnings for other attendees,” Sean added. “On top of that, the meetings are friendly and relatively informal providing a great space for attendees to share thoughts in this friendly environment.”
