Our members are at the heart of everything we do at SSF UK and we are constantly working hard to make sure we are sourcing the latest innovations in technology, exploring current trends, providing legislative updates and keeping our agendas topical, responsive and constantly evolving, to ensure you are getting the most from your membership.
We have put on some fantastic online networking events and interactive sessions, over the last few months, these have proved to be very popular and the feedback has been really positive. Thank you to everyone who has attended and for your continued support. With the current pandemic still ongoing, our members safety and wellbeing is extremely important to us and we feel that the safest thing to do for our membership community is continue with our events online until the end of the year.
With that in mind we are excited to announce that the Annual Conference 2020 is going VIRTUAL. As you know we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year, so we want to end the year on a high and make sure we still provide that fantastic experience that we have all grown to love.
Our theme for this year is Next TEN Next GEN. We know already that the future of work is going to look very different going forward, but we have proved that we can adapt and evolve during unprecedented times, so we would like to go on a journey with you to explore that further.
In 2020 we entered a new decade and we are currently all experiencing a global pandemic and unprecedented working conditions for the first time. What will the next ten years bring in terms of technology, ways of working, advancement, people, talent, leadership and the workplace needs in general that the next generation will help create and encourage us all to develop and evolve in the future?
The future of work, veiled behind a shroud of uncertainty, a flurry of dynamic change and a cloud of digital leaps, appears often to be mysterious. The fact that work, as we know it has and is continuing to change and be redefined, is no debate. But what do these changes mean for the modern workplace? What meaning would they hold a decade from now?
We know you must be thinking about the Awards Dinner and whilst we can't physically get together, we can still create an amazing awards ceremony to showcase and celebrate all our wonderful members, leaders and member organisations who have continued to support our membership community this year.
This year the conference will be open to all members, with a slightly different, yet creative agenda and we will keep you updated on all the information as we build our virtual event. We wanted to share the exciting news with you so you can keep the dates in your diary and we can all look forward to what we hope we will a truly memorable event.
