MEET OUR PANELISTS:
Matt Duncan joined Protiviti UK as a Managing Director in September 2022. Based in London, Matt has more than 20 years of experience delivering change successfully for his clients. Matt leads our change and transformation practice in the UK, as well as our people advisory offering. Matt specialises in leading large-scale transformation delivery across multiple sectors, including fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, financial services, healthcare, retail, and government. His recent consulting projects include helping establish a global employee experience function at a global FMCG organisation, a digital transformation programme and leading an HR transformation programme at a pharma major.
Matt previously worked at The Berkeley Partnership and Accenture.
Amanda bronkhorst, CEO and Founder at JUST ONE Treee
It all started infinitesimally small…
Amanda's journey began in TV Commercial Production, where as a Producer she worked with many big brand clients and filmed in locations around the world.
What was intended as a brief hiatus to start a family, transpired to be a change of career in an unexpected way. Whilst on maternity leave, driven by apprehension for what the future might hold for her young daughter, Amanda was compelled to take action.
And so JUST ONE Tree was born.
Amanda’s commitment to effecting positive change resonates in her role as a sought-after speaker, addressing audiences ranging from school children to corporate leaders, including prestigious platforms like the Bank of England. Her tireless dedication has garnered accolades, including being nominated as Woman of the Year, affirming her status as a trailblazer in the fight against climate change. Through her leadership, Amanda continues to inspire and mobilise a global community towards a greener, more sustainable future.
Helen is the Group Director of Social Value at Mitie, the UK's largest facilities management company and a strategic supplier to Government. With a background in public and third sector consultancy and social value leadership at Deloitte, she has focused her career on pioneering commercially sustainable ways to deliver social impact across all sectors.
She has previously led volunteering, fundraising and social business scale up programmes, and has experience in holding Board and Trustee positions for VCSEs and community organisations. She is passionate about maximising and optimising how social value is delivered in business as a catalyst for positive societal change.
Katie Duxbury, Head of Benefits and Pay Services
Katie has forged an award-winning career in Human Resources, specialising in Reward, Pay and Benefits. She is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD and a graduate member of CIPP, with a diverse portfolio of experience, from corporate roles managing large scale change initiatives to supporting small businesses and charities with employment issues on a freelance basis.
She currently works for Bupa, leading Pay Services & Wellbeing Benefits as part of the wider People Experience space.
A vocal advocate for financial wellbeing, Katie has been instrumental in implementing various initiatives making every pound of pay count, including the roll-out of Earned Wage Access and auto-save for Bupa colleagues.
Outside of work, Katie is an Amazon best-selling author and mental health campaigner.
Dave Horrocks, Co-Owner at Peak4
David Horrocks is an academic, specialising in sports science and psychology. David has worked in the inter disciplinary teams surrounding elite football with clubs such as Burnley, Bolton Wanderers and Manchester United in the fields of sports science, data analytics, performance analysis, psychology, technology, learning and development.
Dave has travelled the world looking at best practice across multiple sports and worked with organisations such as The NBA, Cricket Australia, Red Bull, The German Football Association among others and also has experience in the corporate world working with Cadent Gas, The NHS, Johnson and Johnson Medical and Hewlett Packard.
Dave is now Co-Owner and Director of two innovative companies, Peak4 and Mike Phelan Coaching, forging a second successful career as an entrepreneur in the tech, sports, and corporate sectors. A globally sought-after high-performance specialist, Dave continues to shape elite environments by applying cutting-edge sports science to leadership, strategy, and workplace wellbeing. His work spans boardrooms and locker rooms alike, helping organisations and individuals unlock sustained success through precision, resilience, and innovation.
