This February we expanded our UKI team to launch HR shared services to the United Arab Emirates. This is the culmination of a 9-month expansion project which has seen US launch 20 new services, the development of a new online employee portal dedicated to the UAE including +100 knowledge articles, a total HR data cleanse and the completion of +400 user acceptance tests. We opted to leverage the existing UKI team to provide services at the optimum cost.
In the first few weeks since launch, request volumes have been much higher than anticipated, very positive customer satisfaction feedback and we have seen great levels of engagement locally, with over half of the total employee population accessing our online portal and over 1.1k knowledge article views.
