Yesterday we held the second of our online Order to Cash network events. Martin Kirby and Duncan Trubody had put together a packed agenda and started the session with welcomes and introductions. Martin began by checking in with members and giving everyone the opportunity to share how different organisations are and how they are planning to get back into the workplace. Some organisations are already back in the office but it is very much a safety first and based on business process and personal needs first. The majority of members are still working from home and plan to continue to do so, teams are finding it very useful, productive and successful and are requesting to stay remote working for the coming weeks, maybe months.
Martin then touched on people and how organisations supporting their teams. Some people are finding it lonely working at home and want to go back into the office, where as some people are enjoying being at home and finding it more productive.
We then welcomed Vicky Ford from SPX Flow who gave us an insightful member contribution into the organisation. Vicky started with a background of the organisation, which has now been open 10 years and shared their journey and learning's over the last decade. She touched on how they started the organisation, how they built up the business with people and building scale, how they have adapted to change, how order to cash is today and some of the current challenges they are facing. The second part of the session, welcomed Cyra Garg from HighRadius who gave a presentation on credit risk. Cyra focused on the impact COVID19 has had on credit, the steps leaders can take to manage the pandemic and how technology can help with that. A customer success story from Staples and how they managed to reduce bad debt and finished with an insight into HighRadius. The presentation is available to view HERE
