This morning we held the first Order to Cash network event online and what a fantastic event. So much interaction and participation as we discussed the challenges of sourcing and retaining good quality operational resources to meet the demands of the business and shared some of the implications for people managers and organisations for investment in team member development.
Guest speaker Luke Sculthorp, Head of Strategic Relationships at The Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) joined us to share the key to recruiting success in 2023. Luke discussed market conditions and analysed the ongoing challenges OTC hiring managers will face, guiding upon how to create continuous improvement.
We also discussed where our Order to Cash teams are at this present moment in time; asking the question did the ‘great resignation’ muted in 2022 ever happen, looking at the challenges are teams are facing as we move to a more automated workplace in Finance, with the differing expectations of the next generation moving into the UK PLC workforce.
