What a great evening of putting on the ritz...at the Hilton!
Along with a great evening of wining and dining and being entertained by Shaun Williamson, we held the second of our SSF UK Award Presentations.
Last year we introduced our SSF UK awards based on our forum's values, Evolution, Community and Leadership.
This year, we had a huge response from our members and received some amazing entries. A massive Congratulations to all who made it to the shortlist, a great achievement in itself judging by the high standard of entries. We discovered that many of our members have, and are making a significant difference to their organisations by continuing to deliver operational excellence, serve their communities and demonstrate superb leadership skills.
On the evening, we were delighted to present the award to the following winners:
Community: National Grid Business Services - collected by Tim Pumphrey - here's what Tim had to say about what the award means to himself and the team:
"The award means a great deal to me personally and the team who put in the hours in planning, organising and getting buy-in from senior stakeholders to support the challenge. For the 10 days of the challenge we battled against the elements and continued to raise funds for our chosen charity last year – Alzheimer’s Society. Having the award – provides continued motivation to fundraise and support cycling events for individuals and organisations who can benefit from the experience we’ve gained in putting together a multi stage, multi day cycling event".
Leadership: Sarah Conway - Central England Co-operative - collected by Scott Worth
Evolution: Mary Zhang - The Guinness Partnership
Well done everyone!
Please take a look at some photos from the evening and we'll look forward to receiving your entries for the SSF UK Awards in 2019!
