Gary Critchley acts as leader of this member organisation, a little bit about Gary below:
Gary joined National Grid in May 2015. Prior to joining National Grid, Gary held various senior international leadership positions at PepsiCo, Qatar Foundation and Marks and Spencer, specialising in developing centres of excellence and transforming shared service functions through outsourcing near-shore and far-shore delivery models.

Through 3 key areas of focus (controls, process and service) they want to be responsive, reliable and easy to deal with – always finding a better way and doing the right thing. Business Services strive to be a team with commercial edge, energy and pride, delivering exceptional service and value to National Grid UK business. Business Services plays a critical role in enabling the future success of National Grid. Since the creation of Shared Services in 2006, they have delivered significant savings for the National Grid, and continue to do so by the ongoing development and improvement of existing services and providing new services and support to the UK business through their new Business Services model.
