Karen Fagan is Head of Treasury Consultancy at AccessPay, leading the company’s consulting arm focused on strengthening control and visibility across payment processes. A former treasury leader at media giant ITV, she brings extensive experience from multiple transformation initiatives and a deep understanding of bank integration technologies, compliance requirements, and the shift toward more strategic P2P functions.
The Procure to Pay Networking Live session, “Maintaining Control in a Rapidly Changing Environment,” will offer a practical and reflective look at the challenges of centralisation and control within shared services. Karen will highlight how AccessPay's customers are reducing risk, improving control, and gaining clearer visibility across payment processes, and explore why freeing teams from low-value tasks is critical to building a stronger, more strategic P2P function, and how automation and smarter workflows are enabling this shift.
The session will also address upcoming legislative and regulatory changes impacting control environments, with opportunities for members to reflect, share, and learn from one another.
