This week we held our latest HR & Payroll network meeting. Our associates, The Chartered Professionals for Payroll and Pensions (CIPP) kindly hosted the meeting for us at their premises in Covent Garden.

After a networking lunch we had a very insightful member contribution presentation from Laura Stringer, Head of HR Shared Services at Hilti. This featured the Lean journey at Hilti, including the importance of Shared Service staff training on Lean, the lean journey at Hilti, information on their HR Shared Services approach and explanation on what can be learnt from others to keep "lean" in focus.
The day was rounded up with an open session within the group, which provided everyone with the opportunity to share current key challenges, gain insight and ideas, ask gain questions and share their own experiences.

The next HR & Payroll meeting will take place at day 1 of the annual conference on the 20th & 21st of November 2019 at Aintree Racecourse. Registration will go live on the 1st of October, where invites will be sent to Leader of every organisation for them to register themselves, plus their chosen 4. Please note that it is a maximum of 2 attendees per organisation, per any one network session.
