What a fantastic day we had over at BSI in Milton Keynes for the Financial Accounting & Reporting network event.
Changes in the way people work have created new challenges for organisations and a realignment in the ways they attract and retain accounting and finance employees. The Financial accounting & Reporting sector has most certainly been impacted. Employee shortage has come at a time when the need for strong talent in the FA &R field is steadily increasing.
Hiring challenges are reflected in cautious growth expectations across all business verticals, as organisations evaluate their resource constraints, carefully determine which projects to undertake and then prioritise the most business-critical of those initiatives to pursue.
In the face of these challenges, how can we retain and acquire the talent required in our evolving FA&R teams?
