Last week we enjoyed our virtual summer event, SSF UK Collaboration Week. It really was a great week of networking and collaboration and our wonderful collaborators did us proud with their truly fantastic sessions, focusing on so many current and hot topics and sharing so many excellent insights, tips and ideas that have us all thinking about the future!!!
Just some of the amazing feedback from our collaborators from last week:
We were delighted to be asked to speak during Collaboration Week 2022 with employee experience continuing to be one of the hot topics in 2022. We hope that members and non-members alike fully enjoyed our presentation and all of the content shared by the collaborators this week. Thank you to Shared Services Forum UK for allowing us to take part.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSOCIATION
It was wonderful to be part of the SSF UK Collaboration Week again this year. As every year, it’s a week full of insights from many contributors across areas of interest to the ever growing Shared Services industry. Customer Excellence is such a relevant topic and we hope that Penny Weller’s presentation on ‘Customer Centric Service Design’ offered food for thought and gave many helpful hints and tips.
THE HACKETT GROUP
What a great week it’s been. There aren’t many places where you can find so much variety of information, with each topic covered in such depth by people who really care. Whether it’s about finance, shared services or mental health and emotional agility, Shared Services Forum UK has come up trumps again, and we’re so pleased to have been a part of it. Thank you!
PURCHASE TO PAY NETWORK
What a powerhouse of groups! The benefits of being in these collaborations go further than just information sharing. People come together, both online and in real life, which means more opportunities to grow and be energised by like-minded individuals. These third space communities are more value post-pandemic as we travel to work less, collaborate less and still need professional interactions and ideation. A pleasure to collaborate on this one.
GENCFO
It has been brilliant being of the SSF UK Collaboration Week and having the opportunity to connect with HR shared services professionals from around the UK. It was great to be able to speak to people about stress and mental health in the workplace and to hear their thought provoking comments and questions. We’ll look forward to the next one!
DAC BEACHCROFT
We thoroughly enjoyed the preparation, build up and being part of collaboration week. We appreciated having the opportunity to share some of our useful insights and takeaways with the members of Shared Services Forum UK, as well as our own network on the topic of “Understanding what makes a great leader/manager in times of constant change”. . What a great idea having the collaboration week and hearing all the different, and relevant, key messages from various organisations as well as the “round-up” at the end from Lisa and David. There was certainly a buzz last week with our team also enjoying listening to the other sessions too.Thank you again for letting Sewells be part of collaboration week and we can’t wait for next year!
