Hello everyone,
Along with regular news and updates from me, we've introduced a new feature where I'll be talking to our members, guests, sponsors and partners about topical and relevant subjects to the forum.
This week we chat with Jay Tyson, owner of Event Cement http://www.eventcement.com and our Events Partner for our Leaders Meetings and Annual Conference.
Hi Jay, we're all getting very excited about our Annual Conference, can you share some updates?
Yes, of course We've been busy working behind the scenes for a few months and we're excited that the conference is now only a few weeks away and the 'big reveal' is imminent! What I can tell you is that this year's conference will take place on October 8th and 9th at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester with the usual array of top quality sessions, peer-to-peer networking opportunities, the chance to see the latest products and services from our sponsors - and, as ever, a few surprises.
Will we be featuring the Future Vision Awards again this year?
Yes, absolutely. After the success of the inaugural Future Vision Awards last year, we're delighted to announce that they'll be an annual feature. Remember, the Future Vision Awards are the members' chance to honour those in their company who have excelled in one (or more!) of the following categories: Community, Leadership and Evolution and we want everyone to nominate and vote!
Sounds great Jay, let us know when you can tell us more! How do members sign up?
The registration process is one of the things that has evolved from last year. Having listened to the members, there is a new, simplified one-click registration process. We're dotting the final i's and crossing the last of the t's right now so: Leaders: look out for an email with details of how to register your team popping into your inbox very soon!
Where can members find out more information and stay up to date?
Following the members' feedback last year, all important information will be sent out through email and there are daily updates on the conference, speakers and of course, our sponsors, on the forum's Twitter and LinkedIn pages, so I'd encourage everyone to take a look at those.
Thanks Jay, we'll look out for the updates on the website and social media.
Meanwhile, as a reminder of last years totally awesome and inspirational conference, please click on the following link to take you back 2017 SSF UK Annual Conference and don't forget, as part of your SSF UK membership subscription, each Leader is entitled to one pre-conference dinner ticket (with the option to purchase more) and five delegate tickets in total for conference.
Have a good week everyone.
