Another successful Digital & Operational Excellence network event which took place online on June 3rd.
We hosted another impactful online event, this time diving into the ever-relevant topic of change management. A huge thank you to Nicole Green, Carrie Richardson, Jason Elliott and all our engaged members who contributed their insights and feedback.
This agenda was inspired by our members’ request last March to explore how organisations can not only adapt but excel amid the accelerating pace of change. As we discussed, the real challenge often lies not in the change itself, but in how we integrate it meaningfully into our workplaces.
Key Highlights:
🔹 Jason Elliott challenged our thinking with a people-focused approach to change. We explored the Kubler-Ross model and the importance of making change a personal experience—not just managed, but led. What does it truly take to be a leader through the key stages of change?
🔹 In our breakout sessions, one member reframed the automation conversation from “What can we automate?” to “If you had more time, what would you do?” A powerful shift that turns a perceived threat into an opportunity to embrace.
🔹 Carrie Richardson shared the inspiring SpecSavers journey, showing how leading with empathy and empowerment can drive transformation. The results? Improved skills, greater outward focus, and stronger engagement. But you need to walk the talk to name but a few.
“Our team is our superpower.” – This quote from Carrie resonated with everyone and tied beautifully into our leadership discussion earlier. When you lead and lead well, your team is empowered.
Thank you again to everyone who made this session a success. We look forward to seeing you all in September for our reflection session!
