BSW continues with some excellent content, I listened in to the 100 year life with Rachel this morning and that gave me food for thought, I can expect to live until I'm 89 according to the stats, well lets hope I'm not working until then!!
Excellent webinar by Melanie Flores The Hackett Group at 12.30 and will be a valuable resource for all in procurement.
I didn't get chance to listen into Felicia's webinar on 'This year's hot topics in payroll Global Business Services' but again, this will be an excellent resource and in my quest to pass my certificate in Global Business Services, I will be listening in to the recorded version. I'm sure our payroll network found it invaluable.
Have you seen #mysharedservicesstory which spotlights the career of Sara Lovell, Procurement to Payment Manager, Canal & River Trust, Sara's passion for her role is obvious and she brings the same level of passion to her role as Network Chair for the P2P network.
Today's Best Practise Share comes from Scott Worth of Central England Co-op, here Scott demonstrates how their Credit Management department focused on inefficiencies and improved cash collection significantly. I think you should be considering CICMQ accreditation Scott or entering in a project for the British CICM awards!
Another great day of takeaways and all resources will feature on the website after BSW...tomorrow, we have the following to look forward to, try and listen in if you can, where else would you receive all this learning? It would be some organisations training budget for a year!!
