We were delighted to visit new member Culina Group at their brand new Shared Service Centre in Warrington, marking a great opportunity to strengthen our connection and gain a first-hand view of their evolving shared services operation.
The visit brought together members of both the Finance and HR teams, creating space for open conversation, shared insight and a broader understanding of how Culina are shaping their internal services to support the wider business. It was particularly valuable to hear more about their plans for the rest of the year, alongside the longer-term vision for their shared services model and how they are continuing to evolve and strengthen capability across their teams.
Spending time on-site also gave us the chance to see the environment they have created a modern, collaborative space designed to support both performance and connection. These visits are an important part of how we engage with new members, helping us understand not just what organisations are doing, but how they are doing it, and where there are opportunities to share learning across the wider SSF UK community.
It was fantastic to catch up with Enzo Meyer and Mark Goodyer, and to hear more about their journey so far. Conversations like these are what make our membership community so valuable, real experiences, honest reflections and a shared focus on continuous improvement.
We’re also really pleased to confirm that Culina Group will be hosting our combined Order to Cash and Procure to Pay Network event this September. This will give members the chance to return, put the spotlight on Culina’s finance teams, and hear more about the progress they’ve made, the challenges they’ve navigated, and the lessons they’ve learned along the way.
A big thank you to Enzo for the warm welcome and for taking the time to host us and we hope everyone enjoyed the goodie bags!
We look forward to continuing the conversation, returning later in the year, and supporting Culina Group through their ongoing shared services journey and we hope SSF UK membership brings everything they need as they continue to evolve and grow.
