I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Institute of Customer Service Conference 2025 with some of my amazing team members. We were honoured to be finalists in the Best Customer Service Award, standing alongside renowned household names like Waitrose and Openreach.
The conference was a treasure trove of insights and inspiration. A special highlight was the keynote by the King of Customer Service, Ken Hughes whose talk on the ever-changing landscape of customer service truly resonated with me. As said, "Customer service is not a department, it's an attitude." This quote really hit home and reinforced the importance of our commitment to excellence.
Additionally, Jon Paull, COO at Octopus Energy, reinforced our values at Group Shared Services of putting people first.
