SSF UK is pleased to announce the evolution of its Procure to Pay (P2P) Network, which will now be known as the Source to Pay (S2P) Network.
While the name change may seem small, it reflects a much broader and important shift in how organisations are thinking about and managing this space.
Over time, discussions within the network have moved beyond a traditional focus on procurement and payment processes. Members are increasingly exploring the full end-to-end lifecycle, from sourcing and supplier strategy right through to payment and beyond.
This evolution has been driven by real-world challenges and priorities, with organisations placing greater emphasis on value creation, strategic supplier relationships and the interconnected nature of their operations.
The transition to “Source to Pay” better captures the depth and breadth of these conversations, aligning the network with what is now happening in practice across shared services and global business services environments.
The newly named Source to Pay Network reflects a more connected and forward-looking approach, one that recognises the importance of seeing the full process as a cohesive, value-driven journey rather than a series of isolated activities.
It also creates space for more strategic discussion, enabling members to explore how sourcing decisions, supplier management and operational processes come together to deliver meaningful outcomes for their organisations.
While the name is changing, the core of the network remains the same. The network continues to be built on openness, collaboration and the sharing of real experiences.
Members will continue to connect in a trusted environment to discuss priorities, challenges and opportunities, learning from one another and shaping the future direction of the function together.
This evolution represents not just a change in name, but a natural progression of the network, ensuring it continues to reflect the realities of the industry and the needs of its members.
