Shared Services Forum UK launched in 2011 and is the only not-for-profit, national membership community for the Shared Services sector.
We support our members through on and off-line knowledge-sharing, benchmarking, thought-leadership and best practice events. We are 'run for the members, by the members' and more than 100 public and private sector organisations have helped shape the Forum to date.
Our speakers include thought-leaders from within the industry and beyond, and recent contributors include: Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Roger Black MBE, Michael Portillo, Sir Clive Woodward, John Timpson and Professor Tom Cannon.
We hold our events in prestigious venues such as, The Houses of Parliament, The Ritz Hotel London, The Chester Grosvenor, The Lowry Hotel, Rudding Park Hotel and Conference Centre Harrogate, Imperial War Museum North, The Hilton Manchester Deansgate and the Boardroom at Manchester United Football Club to name but a few.
Our Board consists entirely of senior professionals from the world of Shared Services, all of whom support the Forum on a voluntary basis and commit their time and expertise to ensuring we deliver relevant and excellent service to our members.
The Board is Chaired by John McLafferty, and includes; Mick Crowder (Canal & River Trust), Graham Gornall (ELFS Shared Services), David Herd, Lisa Hooley (SPX Flow Europe Limited) and Dilesh Magdani (Ricoh Shared Services).
The Board is supported by Jane Houldsworth and William Bosanko, who manage the day-to-day running of the Forum.
